We stayed here just to wind down a couple days to close out a two week vacation. It met our every expectation. This hotel is definitely above the norm. There was a television in the restroom mirror which I actually used! I mean I'm usually in and out. But the tv helped me to just chill and relax. Go ahead Peabody, you've got pty goin on!

This place is nice in appearance but that is all I have to say nice about the Orlando Peabody. THE FRONT DESK WORKERS SHOULD BE WORKING FOR SOME GOVERNMENT AGENCY WHERE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT MATTER. They have hidden fees, parking is awful you have to walk down a busy service road to get to parking deck with no sidewalk and watch out for the speeding taxis and Peabody valet drivers. Further when i asked the front desk about what happens when it rains and her response was "You can pay $* per day to valet or GET WET" . The worst was Front Desk - RUDE BEYOND BELIEF - I did not see one hotel employee that was nice to anyone two my 2 night stay during Christmas.

Although the staff is pleasent and sort of attentive,the $* PER DAY service fee was only surpassed in disappointment by the useless service you get for it . Shoe shine, fitness center , internet and catch me if you can trolley . This fee pisses me off because nowhere in advance of stay was I able to find mention of it. I do not expect anything for nothing but do wish I could opt out if I choose.(I get free internet at lesser rated hotels reguarly) At no time during the reservation process did anyone mention the major construction project taking place on the hotel. Making a shuttle ride out a walk across the street. Don't come here to eat , Orlando dinning is not good to begin with but Peabody resteraunts are below this average at best. Except breakfast in the diner. I am mainly upset because the product does not live up to the rates and rating.

Stayed last night and had a pleasant experience. The only draw back was the hidden fees. For my quoted price on a supreme room, I was given $18 to park and a $10 Hotel service fee???? A little more than I planned. Otherwise, it was clean and neat. Great looking lobby. No coffee in your room. If you want free coffee get to the lobby before 7am. Otherwise your hidden fees will increase. I would not have minded the price, had I know in advance.

After I checked into the hotel, I received a call to my room informing me they forgot to make me aware the hotel would be without power for a full day due to an expansion. This was not stated anywhere on their website nor on on the online travel website. Only one elevator was working on emergency power and I had no lights or air-conditioning. I booked this with a online travel website and was charged by them. Once my credit card bill came, The had also charged my credit card that I had on file. I would not advise staying here.
