All Walt Disney World Resort hotels are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor smoking locations only.
Disney's Magical Express Service is another benefit to staying at an on-site Disney Resort hotel. Buses take guests from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the hotel room. When the vacation is over, guests and the bags are transported from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport. The Beach Club Resort Quiet Pool will be closed March 31 through April 11, 2008. During this time, Guests may continue to enjoy Stormalong Bay and the Beach Club Villas Quiet Pool.
The Stormalong Bay Pool Slide will be closed May 5 through May 11, 2008. During this time only the water slide in the Albatross pirate ship at the Stormalong Bay Pool Complex will be closed; the pool will remain open. Guests may visit the Luna Park pool complex at Disney's BoardWalk Resort to take advantage of the nearby recreational experience.

Resembling an old-time, New England-style beach club, Disney's Beach Club Resort features a lakeside beach, and is approximately 21 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include Epcot® and Magic Kingdom® Park.

Guests at Disney's Beach Club Resort have fast and easy access to all of Walt Disney World® Theme Parks via buses and ferries. The three-acre white-sand beach by Stormalong Bay features sun loungers and waterslides. Small boats and mini-motorboats are available for rent, and guests may also partake in catch-and-release fishing. Two quiet pools, a children's pool, and a whirlpool are also located at the resort. Those who wish to stay fit can visit the Ship Shape Health Club, featuring exercise equipment, massage treatments, and a sauna. A scenic jogging trail, volleyball court, and a tennis court round out this resort's athletic facilities. Additional amenities include a 24-hour playground, video arcade, supervised children's club, babysitting services, parking, valet parking (for a fee), laundry facilities and services, business center, and a beauty shop. Dining options include seafood and scheduled character dining breakfast buffets at the Cape May Cafe, and the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.
