Disney's Magical Express Service is another benefit to staying at an on-site Disney Resort hotel. Buses take guests from the Orlando International Airport to the Disney Resort hotel, while the bags are transported and taken straight to the hotel room. When the vacation is over, guests and the bags are transported from the Disney Resort hotel back to the airport. Featuring totem poles, pine trees, and rock formations, Disney's Wilderness Lodge recreates the majestic feel of America's National Park lodges and is located approximately 26 miles from Orlando International Airport. Local attractions include Disney's Magic Kingdom® and Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Parks. Transportation to all Walt Disney World® Resort areas is available by ferry or bus.

Those that love the outdoors will enjoy several recreational activities at this resort. An outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, and two whirlpools are located on site. The 12-story Fire Rock Geyser periodically shoots water into the air. Guests can soak up the sun on Bay Lake Beach, rent a pontoon, canopy, or mini-motorboat, and enjoy a specialty cruise. Guests may also rent a bicycle to use on the jogging trail. The onsite fitness center features exercise equipment, massage therapies, and a sauna.
