Summer visitors to Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando can compete for a grand-prize treasure of 10,000 during Summer Treasure Hunt Challenge. Package guests participate in special treasure hunt, with one team winning the 10,000 prize at summer?s end. (Second-place: 3,500 cash; Third place: resort getaway). Room packages start at 219 per night plus tax and parking, with a minimum of two nights. Package includes Florida-view accommodations, one registration to compete in Treasure Hunt Challenge, optional participation in Little Pirates Treasure Hunt (for children ages 10 and under), official Treasure Seekers Log Book, and resort fee.

The resort's signature four-acre glass atrium reflecting three distinct Florida environments including the historic charm of St. Augustine, the funky island revelry of Key West, and the eclectic Everglades (complete with live alligators).

This Florida experience continues with the Art Deco South Beach swimming pool reserved for the resort's adult guests - and the Marine Activities Pool with octopus slide and sandy beach play area for families. For relaxation and pampering, guests enjoy the 20,000-square-foot full-service Canyon Ranch SpaClub (with 20 treatment rooms) and fitness center. World-class dining experiences await at Old Hickory Steakhouse and Sunset Sam's Fishcamp and Villa de Flora, casual dining is at H2O Sports Bar & Grille, and evenings are spent at Auggies Jammin' Piano Bar. The resort also houses Retail Street with fabulous shopping and La Petite Academy Kids Station, an onsite supervised kids program. For fun in the Florida sun, the onsite Coquina Dunes Recreation Park offers sand volleyball, bocce, and a challenging nine-hole executive putting course. Valet parking is available for 18 per day. Self parking is also available for 12 per day.
